Level 1 & 2 ClinicJoin Kelly Sigler for a fun filled learning experience - your horse will thank you. Kelly is a Licensed Parelli Professional - 2 Star Instructor. She is also the riding instructor for the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Bring your horse and participate ......Auditors welcome. Level 1: Saturday & Sunday 9 am to 1 pm This class is for those beginning the Parelli journey. It is the first step to developing a relationship with your horse based on respect and partnership. This class does not have a pre-requisite. Level 2: Saturday & Sunday 2 pm to 6 pm In Level 2 you learn how to develop communication, confidence, timing and fluidity. Ground skills and riding skills are covered. This class is appropriate for those that can pass the Level 1 assessment or have prior approval. Each Level 2 class is unique and a variety of Level 2 tasks will be covered so even if you have taken a Level 2 class before, you can be sure that you will learn new skills . Friday: Level 1 Assessments available. Assessments are done 3 to a class and take approximately 1 1/2 hours. Semi Private, or group lessons available to clinic participants and mid/adv Level 2 students only, on a limited basis. Prices vary. Riders are welcome to audit the other clinic free of charge. Clinic participants are welcome to arrive on Friday and leave on Monday if that is more convenient.
StablingLimited stabling (stall or paddock) is available to those that need it. Cost is $25 per night per horse. One bag of shavings is included with each stall, additional bags may be purchased. You will need to bring your own hay and feed. Feed buckets are available in stalls, you need to bring feed pans for paddocks. You need to bring water buckets for both stalls and paddocks. You will be responsible for your own horse care, feeding, cleaning your stall, etc.
PriceTo participate with your horse in either of the 2 day clinics the fee is $285 plus a $50 Facility fee. Clinic fees are paid in advance. Facility fees and stabling fees are paid upon arrival. Auditors are welcome. The fee is $25 for 1 day, $50 for 2 days to audit both classes. Savvy Club members, bring your card and receive $5 off the audit fee per day. Children under the age of 12 accompanying a paying adult are admitted free. Signing up in advance is not required.
Other RequirementsA CURRENT Negative Coggins test is REQUIRED. The State of Virginia requires Health Certificates for horses entering from out of state. State officials may check for this but we are not required to send in this information. All attendees must sign an equine liability release. Juniors must be accompanied by a parent or an adult designated by a parent and have released signed by a parent.
